MS Reinsurance is committed to encouraging a culture that allows for raising concerns about wrongdoing and challenging poor practice and behavior without fear of suffering personally as a consequence of doing so.
When to ‘Speak Up’
If you have a genuine concern, or a suspicion, or you have noticed that something is inappropriate and/or places MS Reinsurance and its employees at risk, you should consider Speaking Up.
The following are examples of activities that would warrant Speak Up, regardless of whether the information is confidential:
- A criminal offence;
- A failure to comply with any legal or regulatory obligation;
- Endangering the health and safety of an individual or individuals;
- Damage to the environment;
- A deliberate failure to comply with MS Reinsurance's policies and procedures;
- The concealment of any information relating to the above matters; and
- Behavior that has, is, or is likely to have an adverse effect on MS Reinsurance's reputation, financial well-being, or treatment of clients.
MS Reinsurance has made arrangements for disclosures to be made to Safecall, an independent organisation that specialises in providing a service by which individuals can report concerns they have at work.

Safecall has a responsibility to ensure that all details of the concern are accurately and appropriately recorded, and are securely reported to MS Reinsurance in accordance with data privacy laws and regulations, and otherwise in accordance with MS Reinsurance’s agreement with Safecall. It is also responsible for acting as a conduit between the caller and MS Reinsurance, and when requested, provides the caller with updates on a pending investigation and on the eventual outcome of that investigation.
In addition, the MS&AD Global Speak Up program is an independent whistleblowing service that gives you the opportunity to report any fraud or wrongdoing anonymously.
