MS Reinsurance enhances commitment to data analytics with Miguel Marin as Head of Data
Global reinsurer, MS Reinsurance, announced the appointment of Miguel Marin as the new Head of Data, effective June 3. Miguel will be based in the Zurich office and will report to Chief Information and Data Officer, Benedikt Schmid. In his role, he will be responsible for managing the cloud-native data and analytics platform and will play a pivotal role in advancing key data strategies within the company.
Miguel joins MS Reinsurance from Swiss Re and brings a wealth of industry experience. Prior to MS Reinsurance, he served as the Head of Business Intelligence, Data Quality, and Operations Lead at Swiss Re, where he was instrumental in transforming the data landscape. In this capacity, Miguel led key initiatives that significantly improved data quality, operational efficiency, and business intelligence capabilities, thereby enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic insights.
This appointment underscores MS Reinsurance’s commitment to leveraging advanced data technologies to remain efficient and further support its client-focused approach.
